Jestak, the Broken Axe

  • by

Once a fierce warrior of the Kellid tribes inhabiting the Frosting Peaks, Jestak was swept into the chaotic wake of the Worldwound’s expansion. Like many of her kin who succumbed to desperation or the false promise of ultimate power, she entered the service of the demonic hordes, overriding Citadel Drezen. Armed with a brutal combat style and an untamed fury, she was relegated to patrolling the desolate eastern battlements—a position that spoke more of her low status among the manipulative abyssal leadership than her actual prowess in battle.

Despite her ferocious exterior, Jestak is driven by self-preservation rather than a fanatical devotion to the Deskari or Baphomet cults. She views the high-level demons and the traitorous Vhane brothers not as masters to worship, but as dangerous, volatile tyrants who would just as easily consume her as reward her. Her loyalty extends only as far as the edge of the nearest blade. When cornered by the infiltrating Crusaders, the thin veneer of her demonic allegiance shattered completely, proving that beneath the rage of a Worldwound barbarian lies a pragmatic survivor who knows exactly when to trade state secrets for her life.
